MetroWest Mediation Services embarked on a Strategic Planning process in January 2021. This plan will take shape over the next 3 years and it is our hope to realize the ideals set forth in our revitalized mission & vision.

Mission:

Metro West Mediation Services is a non-profit conflict resolution and training center. We are committed to increasing awareness, utilization and accessibility to dispute resolution alternatives. We facilitate peaceful resolution of disputes within all communities we serve, and through the courts, by supporting people to work together to resolve conflict.

Vision:

Our Community realizes the full potential of collaborative conflict resolution.

Future Goals:

Programming

1. Offer dispute resolution services at all stages of a conflict.

2. Offer mediation & training services to students & youth of all ages.

3. Offer a range of trainings that meet the needs of individuals, organizations, and businesses in our community.

Outreach

1. Actively engage with underrepresented communities to provide relevant dispute resolution services.

2. Recruit mediators, staff and board members who represent the communities that we serve.

Governance

1. Ensure best practices for board structure and functioning.

2. Recruit and retain members to create a board with skills, experience and diversity needed for effective governance.
