Community Mediation

For people living in the MetroWest community who need help resolving a conflict, our mediators can assist. Whether it's a conflict with a neighbor over a noisy dispute, a feud between former friends, or a family quarrel, mediation can be an opportunity to work out the conflict in a constructive, non-adversarial manner.

Who Goes to Mediation?

Mediation is a process that can broadly apply to any dispute that arises between individuals, businesses or institutions.  Many times mediation addresses cases that are already in the legal process, but this is not a prerequisite to mediation. On the contrary, mediation can be used to find equitable resolutions between parties in order to avoid the time, stress and money required to take legal action.  If you have questions regarding whether mediation is right for your situation, please do not hesitate to call us today.

how much does it cost?

Mediations referred by the police, town officials or cases already filed in court are free of charge. For all other cases, please contact us for the rates. As a non-profit community mediation center, we are committed for mediation to be accessible to all. No one is ever turned away due to inability to pay.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

We're happy to answer any of your questions and discuss our mediation services. During our initial conversation, we will gather information about your needs and assess if your case is appropriate for mediation. We will then schedule a mediation session at a date and time that works for all parties.
