Metrowest mediation services

MetroWest Mediation Services, Inc. (MWMS, formerly Framingham Court Mediation Services) was founded in 1979 and is a non-profit community mediation agency 501(c)(3).

Our mission is to provide mediation as an early intervention method for resolving disputes, reducing violence and improving the safety and well-being of the people of MetroWest. We also offer a wide variety of mediation and conflict resolution trainings and courses.

Every year, our mediators help resolve conflict in around 300 cases, providing community members with a constructive way to settle their disputes.

We offer free mediation services to all persons appearing in the Concord, Framingham, Marlborough and Natick District Courts for Small claims, Summary Process (housing and eviction) cases, Civil, and Harassment Prevention Order (HPO). We mediate HPO, Care & Protection and Children Requiring Assistance cases in Framingham Juvenile Court.

Outside of the court, we offer divorce mediation, elder and family mediation, and community mediation services for residents and businesses in the MetroWest, including the towns of Acton, Ashland, Bedford, Carlisle, Concord, Framingham, Hopkinton, Hudson, Lexington, Lincoln, Marlboro, Maynard, Natick, Sherborn, Stow, Sudbury, and Wayland.
