About Don Greenstein:
Don Greenstein has a background in negotiations, dispute resolution, law, facilitation and conflict management. He has over 27 years of experience working with a broad spectrum of technical issues and dispute resolution processes. Don is a “re-formed” attorney, whose conflict management work has involved facilitation, mediation and external and internal ombud services of private and governmental workplace issues, as well as family, interpersonal, environmental, health, tribal, community and business matters. His passion is helping people with ongoing relationships work through difficult conversations. He spends his free time mentoring other mediators while mediating small claims and housing/landlord tenant matters in the Boston District Courts, with Metropolitan Mediation Services.
Don is an active on call Ombud with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in disaster response matters throughout the US. He is affiliated with the Boston Law Collaborative, mediating, training and working as a panel member on the BLC Roster. He has his own freelance mediation, conflict coaching, facilitation and external ombud practice, based in Natick, MA.
He is an active Roster member on the Dept. of Interior EEO mediation panel, the Udall Foundation Federal Environmental mediation panel, and the National Health Lawyers mediation panel. Don holds a law degree from Antioch School of Law, Washington, DC and a bachelor’s degree in social work from Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio.
